This Privacy Policy explains how Post Trade Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”)
collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Post Trade Labs
mobile and web application and website (the “Service”).
Short version:
Trade journals stay on your device unless you sign in to sync. AI
coaching sends trade context (and optional screenshots you choose) to
our servers to generate feedback. We do not sell your personal data.
Account information — If you sign in with Google, we
receive your Google account identifier, email address, and display
name/photo as provided by Google.
Trade journal data — Tickers, prices, times, shares,
notes, playbook text, rules, chart preferences, and related session
data you enter or import.
Media you choose to import — Screenshots or documents
you select for trade import. Images are processed to extract trade
fields and are not stored as a permanent photo library on our servers.
AI coaching inputs — Prompts that include trade
context, candle summaries, and optional import content sent to generate
coach freezes and debriefs.
Purchase information — Subscriptions are processed by
Apple / Google and RevenueCat. We receive entitlement status (plan and
credits), not your full payment card details.
Device / technical data — Basic app diagnostics and
preferences stored on device (for example chart settings and timezone).
3. How we use information
Provide replay, journaling, cloud sync, and coaching features
Authenticate your account and sync data across devices
Process AI coaching and import requests you initiate
Manage subscriptions and credit entitlements
Improve reliability and respond to support requests
Comply with law and protect the Service
4. Where data is stored
On device — By default, sessions and preferences are
stored locally on your phone or browser.
Cloud sync — If you sign in, a snapshot of your
journal/settings may be stored on our cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare)
tied to your account.
AI processing — Coaching/import requests are processed
via our API and third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) as
needed to generate responses.
Market data — Charts may load public market bars from
third-party market-data sources.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
Google (sign-in)
Cloudflare (hosting / sync)
Google Gemini (AI generation you request)
Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat (subscriptions)
Market-data providers used for charts
Authorities when legally required
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Permissions (iOS / Android)
Photo library — Optional, to import trade screenshots
you select.
Camera — Optional, if you capture a trade screenshot
in-app.
We do not use the Advertising Identifier for tracking ads.
7. Retention
Local data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud sync
data remains until you delete your account or ask us to erase it. AI
request content is processed to fulfill your request and is not used by
us to build a public profile of your trading.
8. Your choices
Use the app as a guest without signing in
Sign out at any time
Delete your account in Profile (removes cloud sync data associated with
your sign-in and clears local journal data on that device)
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / Google Play settings
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in
your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children.
10. International users
The Service may be hosted in the United States or other regions. By using
the Service you understand your information may be processed in countries
with different data-protection laws than your own.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version with an updated
date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
